What it costs

Two payments in total, and only the second one happens if you are selected.

Match fee for the Inter-State matches. You pay it only after the trial result.

ICL sponsors them, so they play the whole tournament at no cost.

Rewards at the Grand Final

Every age category, U-14 / U-16 and U-19 (Senior), has its own full set of rewards, given out at the Grand Final:

Winning Team — every player on the winning side.
Runner-Up — every player on the second-placed side.
Man of the Series — the best individual player of the tournament.
Top 25 Players — the 25 best players overall, not just the finalists.

Playing with a tennis ball? The rewards are the same, except the Runner-Up team gets a Tennis kit bag instead of a Cricket kit bag.

A sports cycle for every player, sports shoes, and a state-level certificate.

Runner-Up

Kit bag and a white team dress for every player, plus a state-level certificate.

Trial
This is where it all starts. You show your batting, bowling or keeping skills on proper cricket nets, watched by qualified selectors.

What happens on trial day
You get 4 to 5 overs to show your performance.
The trial is held on proper cricket nets.
A fitness session is run by certified coaches.
Warm-up, stretching and running sessions are included.
Selectors are BCCI, ICC and NCA level certified.
The trial is recorded with video and photography, and players are interviewed.
Refreshments and drinks are given to all players.

How you move ahead
Your result is based on how you perform in the trial. You will get it within 2 to 3 days by email, WhatsApp and phone call. The Top 3 players of the trial are sponsored by ICL and get to play the whole tournament for free.

If you are selected in the trial, you are invited to a camp. You meet your teammates and train together before the matches begin.

All selected players meet each other and the team.
Everyone takes part in a fitness session.
There is a batting session and a bowling session.

Play for your state
Inter-State Matches
You play 2 matches with a team made of players selected in the trial. How you perform in these 2 matches decides who makes your state team.

Now every state has its own team. State plays against state, and only the winner moves forward.

The state that wins goes through to the Semi-Final. The team that loses is out of the tournament.

The two best teams meet to decide the champion. Rewards are given to the winning team, the runner-up and the best individual players.
